West Midlands Safari Park is arguably one of the top Safari’s in the whole of the UK and they don’t do things by halves! This fantastic attraction has enough to do on a regular day, let alone Easter! The park is home to over 600 animals, including Elephants, Lions, and Tigers (oh my)! You can also get up close and personal with the animals with their incredible Lodges, sleep in a beautiful Nepalese-inspired accommodation, and observe the animals in their habitats away from the bustle of the crowds! Canon Hill Park, a little oasis in the bustle of busy Birmingham! The park is filled with fun activities for all ages, and offers a chance to get adventurous in the outdoors. The park will be open during the Easter holidays, so why not pack some chocolate eggs and plan your own easter egg hunt, then take the kids to the fun park, or play some mini golf!

The Birmingham Botanic Gardens is one of the UK’s most significant historic Botanic Gardens. This plant conservatory is home to over 7000 plants and even has alpine gardens and a Japanese garden outside. The gardens also have a fantastic cafe and a play area for the little ones, there really is something for all the family at this attraction. Join in with Farmer Paul’s lost lamb Easter trail, and help him find his 5 lost lambs scattered around the gardens to win a chocolate treat! To join in on the Easter trail it’s just a £3 ticket upgrade. The Botanic Gardens are also hosting Easter crafts during the half term. Now, Easter is a symbol of new life and Springtime, and what better way to celebrate new life beginning than learning all about the chick-hatching process at Becketts Farm? This fantastic, and educational Easter experience is one for the diary. For just £3 you and the family can learn all about the chick hatching process, and if you’re lucky, you may even get to see one hatch. The farm also has a range of craft activities to take part in, and the chance to see some lambs, ewes, and goats! So, pack a packed lunch, or visit the cafe and enjoy a day of celebrating all things new, the Easter events run from 23rd March – 7th April.

Selly Manor is home to two beautiful medieval buildings with a fascinating history, the buildings have been home to a wine merchant, an infamous burglar, and even a world-famous chocolatier! Selly Manor has been operating as a museum since 1916, Selly Manor has extended a warm welcome to numerous visitors and schools, offering people of all age groups the chance to delve into its fascinating history, along with the history of Bournville. This Easter there’s lots of fun to be had at the museum, with a WInd in the Willows-inspired Easter event. Explore the garden, take part in an egg hunt, create Easter crafts, play games, dress up, follow the family trail, and visit the Tudor manor.
